Addleshaw Goddard's attempt to relocate to a new London HQ building had been thwarted by an apparent inability to assign an occupational lease of its existing premises at 150 Aldersgate Street.

 

Having been asked to explore occupational opportunities, a series of complex negotiations were undertaken in order to facilitate a move to UBS’s Milton Gate. UBS were persuaded to acquire the HQ of Moore Stephens in Warwick Lane.  By being released from their obligations they were able to take on Addleshaw Goddard's position at 150 Aldersgate Street, thereby facilitating the move of Addleshaw Goddard to Milton Gate.

 

All of these transactions were undertaken simultaneously.
